These are EPIC tips to make your raving experience even more AWESOME! Here’s the first: you should bring a hydration bag with you for festivals. You wouldn’t want to have to
waddle ALL the way to a water fountain while your favourite dj spins. These are awesome and a great purchase

A rave is a dance party with djs and Electronic dance music and stuff! It can be in a werehouse, a club, some randos house. Anywhere! Raves can also be huge festivles, like Elerctic forest and lost lands! They can be smaller local events. Raves often have laser shows, lights and other stuff!

Raves were a gathering place for maralizied people. Poc, lgbt and everyone inbetween is welcomed in the rave space. PLUR comes from this, and you can learn more about plur in the "plur" section of this guide!

TLDR: the rave scene is very welcoming when you filter out the weirdos. Which is a small minority, i find the space very welcoming. esp the kandi kids!

Rave culture was heavily influenced by Black music. Techno was started mostly by Black DJs, and the respect in “PLUR” come from black hip hop culture. I felt like I needed to mention this fact, as I respect Black people a lot and the founders of my favourite sub culture deserve to be recognized and celebrated.
